Energy Efficiency Rebates
Pre-approval Is Required

Rebates for energy efficiency improvements are available now while funds last! Wahkiakum PUD is helping our customers reduce electric bills and make their homes and businesses more comfortable through our Rebate Program. Pre-approval is required for all utility rebate programs prior to installation and expires sixty (60) days after approval – projects that require longer than sixty days to complete must obtain special approval from Wahkiakum PUD.
Looking for a contractor? To qualify for a PUD rebate, installation contractors must be licensed to do the work in Washington State. Customers can select their own licensed contractor or opt to visit Comfort Ready Home to learn more.

Federal tax credits may be available.
The Federal Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 created federal tax credits and deductions to make it more affordable for home and business owners to purchase energy efficient equipment, make repairs and save money on their utility bills. ENERGY STAR provides a list of tax credits opportunities for homeowners here and tax credits for commercial buildings can be found here.
